Repeater Festival - Friday 14 March - Sunday 16 March
The Shacklewell Arms are proud to launch new bi-monthly mini-festival REPEATER, a showcase of the venue’s favourite new and breaking artists alongside the Shacklewell Art fair, zine fair and ale festival.
It begins on Friday 14 March with a welcome return to the live circuit from Gentle Friendly who release a new album on Fat Cat this summer, Brighton duo GAPS (SEXBEAT) and kosmiche ambient artist Moon Gangs (SEXBEAT).
Saturday 15 March sees Portland’s garage rock four-piece White Fang headline a DIY super bill, with sets from UK’s answer to Ty Segall, Theo Verney, industrial post-punks Autobahn, relentless DIY bedroom pop artist KEEL HER, Car Park Records signing Popstangers and Italian Beach Babes band Blueprint Blue.
On Sunday 16 March we will be joined by electronic drone pop band Patterns and London’s Relics.
More artists will be announced over the coming weeks.
SOFT METALS - TUESDAY 27 MAY
Captured Tracks band Soft Metals is a multi-disciplinary electronic duo from Portland, Oregon now residing in Los Angeles, California. Its members Ian Hicks and Patricia Hall were brought together through a common love of 1970s and 80s synthesizer music and began writing and recording songs together in the spring of 2009.
After two successful albums and one EP on Captured Tracks and touring extensively the US and Canada, Soft Metals is starting 2014 with this remix album from tracks from their last work “Lenses”.

Happyness are a three-piece from South London consisting of Jonny Allan, Benji Compston and Ashley Cooper. Having self-produced their debut EP in Jelly Boy Studios, their loft, the band will release their new EP with a show at The Shacklewell Arms.

Sailor Jerry and Lanzarote Events will be celebrating Christmas early with a late night mini festival across two rooms at Corsica Studios, featuring a choice selection of our favourite bands and djs until 2am.
Miami trio JACUZZI BOYS headline the six band bill featuring Seattle’s garage psych stalwarts NIGHT BEATS, experimental producer GANG COLOURS, Dum Dum Girls drummer Sandy Vu’s solo project SISU, tropical electronic duo PARADISE, along with the kosmiche kraut stylings of SEXBEAT label artist MOON GANGS.
San Francisco’s AL LOVER, a mainstay at Austin Psychfest, will curate the afterparty with one of his famed DJ sets set.
Dum Dum Girls Drummer Solo Project Sisu To Play Xmas Party
We are pleased to announce Dum Bum Girls drummer Sandy Vu’s solo project Sisu have been added to the Lanzarote Xmas Party line up alongside the likes of Jacuzzi Boys, Night Beats and Gang Colours.
The late-night mini festival takes place across two room at the renowned Corsica Studios and as well as the live bands, it includes a specially curated set from Al Lover of Austin Psych Fest fame.

GANG COLOURS JOINS XMAS PARTY LINE UP
We are pleased to announce Gang Colours has been added to the line up for our Christmas party at Corsica Studios on Thursday 5th December.
Following the release of new album ‘Invisible In Your City’ on Giles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings, the critically acclaimed producer joins garage and surf-rock stalwarts Jacuzzi Boys and Night Beats, tropical electronic duo Paradise and ambient SEXBEAT label artist Moon Gangs for the late night mini festival taking place across two rooms.
The afterparty will be hosted by San Franciscan producer and Austin Psych Fest regular Al Lover, who will be playing an array of garage psych and rock and roll classics ’till closing.
